Ernie Cavaliere was born in Edmonton, Alberta and has been coaching Women's soccer in the Province for the past 20 years. He has been involved in all levels of competition from community, club, Major League, varsity and Provincial teams, and has worked with a number of players that are currently with the Canadian National Team. Ernie was a Provincial Head Coach for five years winning one National Gold medal, three Silver medals and was the Head Coach of both the 1999 U21 Alberta Western Canada Games team in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and the 2001 U20 Alberta Canada Summer Games team in London, Ontario. In the past seven years with MacEwan the Lady Griffins have won 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze ACAC Provincial medals as well as 1 CCAA National Bronze medal. He has completed his National B-License certification and is currently working on his Level 4/5 NCCP certification. This is Ernie's ninth season with the Lady Griffins and looks forward to continued success with MacEwan College. |
