The Grant MacEwan University Women's Hockey Program is pleased to announce the signing of Kelsey Shura to our 2010/2011 player roster. Growing up in Sexsmith, a small town in northern Alberta. Kelsey first experience on skates was at age three. At a young age Kelsey played through the male programs, and then on to the female rep programs in Grande Prairie, playing her last three years with the Grande Prairie Storm of the AAA Alberta Female Major Midget League. Kelsey is a defenseman who is determined to win every battle on the ice. She is a hard worker with a quiet inner confidence and enough heart to stop anyone no matter their size.

She is Majoring in the Office Assistance Administration program and is as excited to become a part of the Griffins Family. Welcome Kelsey!
