The Grant MacEwan Griffins women's hockey program is pleased to announce the addition of Madison Rose for the 2010-2011 season. Madison will be attending the Bachelor of Science program to work toward becoming a Dentist. Madison is a very skilled player hockey player with great intensity and a hard working attitude. She has played hockey for 10 years most of which was for High Prairie Minor Hockey where she won provincial gold with the Midget Female team. She has been selected to play on many Hockey Alberta teams including Alberta Team North in 2006 winning gold in Alaska and 2008 winning bronze in Yellowknife. She was also selected to play on the Alberta Challenge Team. She has also played for Zone 8 at the Alberta Winter Games for Hockey and the Alberta Summer Games for inline hockey. She played for the Grande Prairie Midget Storm AAA team since her first year midget. She played Senior Ladies on the Grovedale Vipers team in 2010 winning provincial gold. She is thrilled to be part of the Grant MacEwan Griffins and look forward to a successful upcoming season. The Griffins program is thrilled to add her to our team roster and look forward to her contributoins to our team.
