| Looking for a weekend sweep over the number 1 ranked Concordia Thunder the Griffins came home with a weekend split. Through the disappointment of a Friday night lose, the Griffins bounced back with a Saturday win. Evan Schwindt was crucial to the Griffins success with timely shooting and an improved effort on the glass, the Griffins fought for the win. Evan Schwindt had a solid effort scoring 16 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. |

The Griffins finish first in the North. With a sweep over the Keyano Huskies, Erica Latta was dominant in the back row. Erica is a third year Libero coming off a year of travelling the world. Being part of the 2006/07 National Champion team, Erica has returned to the griffins leading with hard work, experience and integrity. Her consistent positive attitude and unbreakable platform has been a prime example for her team mates.
